Babar Khan DMD

Babar Khan DMD

Dr. Babar Khan is a dedicated, experienced dentist and the founder of Connecticut East Dental Center. A 2006 graduate of Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Khan has been educated on three continents. Known for his calm, reassuring manner, he is particularly good at helping nervous patients feel at ease. He strives to create a warm, family-like atmosphere at his practice. Dr Khan is steadfast in his belief that everyone deserves access to excellent healthcare and is committed to delivering that excellence his community.

Dr. Khan has lived in Vernon for over 25 years and after watching his son develop both skills and lifelong friendships in the Vernon Little League, he is proud for Connecticut East Dental Center to sponsor a Little League Team. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his family - especially to the mountains - along with watching Red Sox baseball, Pakistani cricket, and Chelsea soccer.

Neville Hall RDH

Neville Hall RDH

Our Registered Dental Hygienist, Neville, hails from sunny Jamaica, but is well acclimated to chilly New England. A 2004 graduate of Tunxis, he has been with Connecticut East Dental since we first opened our doors. Neville is passionate about keeping your mouth healthy and your smile bright! A family man, he lives in Salem, CT where his world revolves around his wife, 2 beautiful daughters, and Coco and Alvin his Shizu and Bichon Poodle. In his rare free time, Neville enjoys working on “fixer—upper” homes. He’s also a BMW expert.

Barbara Khan

After opening the office with her husband, Barbara put her Organizational Management and Marketing Degree to use keeping the business side of the Practice running smoothly. Her management experience ranges from tech to fitness to education and entrepreneurship, as the owner of the former Jack and Allie’s Children’s Bookstore. Barbara shares her husband’s passion for ensuring that all patients have access to high quality care in a friendly, comfortable setting. When she’s not working, she is likely spending time with one of her three children at baseball game, or on a trip to Ireland.

Our office manager, Corinne, originally came to us through an externship as a Dental Assisting Student. After her graduation, we were happy to welcome her full-time. From Dental Assisting, she moved to the front desk and became our insurance expert, and patient coordinator extraordinaire. Her humor and passion for people make her a favorite with all our patients and our staff. If you hear laughter ringing in our halls, that’s Corrine! When she’s not here, she is likely at a dance studio or horse barn with her daughter.

Rafa has been Dr. Khan’s right-hand man here at CT East for 10 years. As the Lead Dental Assistant, Rafa is not only helping the doctor and serving you, he’s also keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Known for his happy, bubbly personality, he will keep you laughing too much to be nervous! At home he can be found binge-watching Grey’s Anatomy or Vikings, or streaming his favorite movie, The Lion King. Be sure to ask to see his Lion King tattoo!

Angie

Angie joined us as a Dental Assistant in 2022 and quickly became an integral part of the family. Knowledgeable, kind, comforting, and efficient, Angie cares deeply about her patients. Focused on health and fitness, she can be found cooking up tasty and nutritious foods in our tiny employee kitchen. Away from the office, you will find her with her children, at the gym, or maybe teaching her co-workers a little bachata at office parties.

As a full time UCONN student, Isyss still finds the time to keep our front desk running smoothly. A smiling face at the window, a happy voice on the phone, we are thrilled to have Isyss as a patient coordinator and look forward to having her available even more when she finishes up that Bachelor’s Degree later this year! When she’s not busy studying, she likes spending time with her family.

Destiny

Destiny is the newest addition to our office staff. She joined our front desk in a temporary position, but quickly made herself so valuable we had to make it permanent! Sweet and polite with a big smile, Destiny’s calm will put you at ease. With a curious nature, she’s always ready to learn something new. Ask her about her dog, Motion, or her rabbit, Stacy.
